Comprised of spatially schizophrenic typography and photography, the first 918 book is an abstract of modern urban life and its sensory inundations. Complex forms, structures, densities and vast wasted emptinesses contrast and define what it means to be alive and surrounded by metal, machines and messages.[ book image (floating... match background?) ]
A (physically) small indulgence in design on a larger level. Cover is soft card stock, hand letter-pressed and silver foil stamped by Ryan Tandy. Content pages printed on a Heidelberg offset press on heavy art paper.

Generally .918's working assets were produced from degree of industrial fetishism mixed with heavy doses of quasi-legal adventurousness.
