The difficult challenge of branding a new technology platform was brought in-house and landed on my desk. Adobe's AIR (Integrated Runtime) is a platform melding the unique authoring and functional capabilities of Flash, Flex, and web-based technologies for online and offline applications. The mark's form was informed by the melding of the separate technology platforms into one friendly and dynamic whole. More »
CS3 was an epic renovation of every Adobe and Macromedia product identity found throughout the desktop. The primary challenges were to develop a system to merge the Macromedia and Adobe product lines, and to tie the product icons together to work side-by-side harmoniously. Elements were created to maintain a 1:1 correlation between application, native file, and other high-level product ID touchpoints from install through workflow. More »

Prototyp is a multi-faceted design exercise which explores sports-prototype racecar engineering. Technical illustration, product design, structural and surface engineering, language-independent instructional design (for an international audience), and ecommerce development support the exercise. Ultimately the subjects are rendered Origami-inspired paper model kits. More »

Cycle Specialties in Modesto is one of the top BMW motorcycle dealerships in the Central Valley. CS designed a new logo and identity package to align itself more closely to the BMW brand while retaining a unique character. Logo, color, and identity applications were developed complimentary to BMW's very clean and modular identity. More »

Identity proposal for spirits importer. Plays on an ethereal interpretation of the element 'spirit' attributed to spirits and liquor. Bubbles and radiant character manifest in circles above the leaning T logo, a bit tipsy itself. Photography would also play on the blurry abstractions and indulgence of drunkenness. More »
